A Bit of Background
Thompson farm originally started out with Mindy in 2011. I had grown up on a farm in Tennessee with many Australian shepherds including miniatures before they were recognized back in the 70's and early 80's. After tons and tons of research we decided it was time to preserve this amazing breed and raise our own. We are located just south of Graham NC. Between Greensboro and Durham.

All our puppies are sold as pet only unless previously arranged and approved.
Their parents are genetic tested for multiple Australian shepherd genetic disorders.
And are American stock dog registry (ASDR) registered.

Our prices start out at 1000.00 and up with blue eyed tri's, merles and those with breeding rights being higher.

A 250.00 Non-Refundable deposit is required to hold your baby until pick up day.
We accept Cash, Venmo, square cash friends and family. also, other methods just ask. add 2% for electronic payments on deposits and cash only on pick up day.

All babies will have their tails docked, dewclaws removed, wormed every 2 weeks and age-appropriate vaccines done here on our farm, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention as well as a health certificate from our veterinarian.

All puppies are required a vet visit within 7 days of going to new homes to make sure your new baby is completely healthy. Your baby can be returned with vet certificate for a new baby, if your puppy is deemed unhealthy.

Puppies will have a visit from our veterinarian at around 7 weeks old for physical and health check. Each puppy will have a health certificate from our veterinarian when exam is completed.
Parasites are not included in the guarantee but be assured we do everything possible to prevent parasites in our babies.

If getting a puppy around the holidays, please know that high fat foods or high fat treats can cause severe diseases such as pancreatitis in puppies and dogs so please don't give excessive treats or table foods.

Before deposits can be placed each potential new parent must acknowledge that they have read our about page.
Our babies are fed Fromm gold puppy food and the adult dogs gets Fromm gold small dog adult dog food.
Each puppy sold has a 250.00 non-refundable deposit whether a pre-deposit or a deposit made on pick up day.
Puppies can be returned if unable to keep them up to 6 months old. No refunds will be given to any returned puppy.

Miniature Australian Shepherd Breed standard preferred height at the withers for males is 14 to 18 inches, for females 14 to under 18 inches.
